Tell us what you did today!

So, tell VRF what you did today, if you would be so willing. It can be exciting or routine, happy or sad. It doesn't really matter. Just share whatever you want about what you did today.

Amongst other things, so far I have gone grocery shopping & walked Emma. Later, I'll be walking Emma again & making her biscuits.

This is usually my day off, but I am working 10 hours as I will be tomorrow, my other day off. At least I am getting a bunch of overtime. And I am just babysitting a group that is having a meeting/training session at the facilities where I work and so I am not working hard (as is proved by me hanging around VRF.)

I woke up in the millhouse in Wales that my friends rented for their joint 30th birthday party around 7am and got up at 8, played my friend's guitar then tried to play the piano (it's been about 20 years since I had lessons, so I'm a bit rusty ), tried to pot a few balls on the pool table, then had a shower. Then my friends got up and we had a huge cooked breakfast, tidied up the house because we had to leave today, took a last walk over the scary rickety bridge and looked at the river from the other side, then we packed up the car and drove around the hills for a while, stopped and looked at a gorgeous reservoir in a valley which had loads of tiny birds, swifts I think, flying all around, then we went into Brecon and had coffee, went to Hereford and looked around my friend's new house then got the train home.

I've had a great weekend, seems to have gone incredibly quickly though!

Today I did the usual morning routine:
Get up, take dogs out, make coffee, start dog food, wake husb, wake children, nag children, make lunches, make breakfast, help with dressing children, make smoothies, take/give medicine, surf VRF, fed dogs, take dogs out, oversee children, get children to bus, shower, dress, drive to work, work.
I will do after work:
grocery shopping, change oil in car, eat dinner, take medicine, help kids get ready for bed, check homework/chores, watch teevee, play online scrabble, bed.

Let's see:
Dragged self out of bed despite sore throat
Ate small breakfast
Went to work
Worked a lot
Came home
Took shower whilst fabulous husband made me dinner
Ate dinner (delish!)
Cooked fresh veggies for birds
Watched while hubby fed birds
Unwinding while catching up on VRF
Later will brush teeth and go to bed, probably early. Throat's still sore!
